Poor Mom
Merlin's Mom here again.
I'm feeling neglected so I thought I'd post. Merlin and Dobby don't have much interest in me anymore. They're too busy playing for much attention for Mom.
Dobby has been released from his room, and the two cats are exploring the whole house together. Late at night. Quite noisily. We could hear them in the upstairs bedroom (which is right over our bedroom) pouncing around in the wee hours.
And this morning I did get a little snuggle time, but mostly the kitties had kitty business to attend to.
I will try to post some pictures soon, if they will stop running for long enough. I seriously did not know Merlin could move that quickly! He's not going to catch Dobby, though, that little kitten has some serious speed.

It's good news that the adjustment period is going well. Don't worry. After the "newness" of being brothers wears off, they'll come back to you!

Oh yes, I remember those days when Mattingly and Harlie would play completely nonstop. We couldn't wait for the novelty of having someone new to play with to wear off. It was a few months before Mattingly resumed his previous snuggly behavior, but Harlie was snuggly before that. It was definitely weeks before our household got back to normal. But it is so much fun! Congrats on a pretty smooth transition!

I'm so happy for Merlin and Dobby!! I'd be willing to bet they'll be snuggling and sleeping together soon too, if they aren't already! Wish we could see them on video chasing each other! Hint hint... :)

we're furry happy you two is havin' so much fun togeffur, but don't furget yur mom needs kitty cuddles. our Lady finded out that if she turns down the heater a little at nite, we come ta bed an snuggle.
I hope this doesn't happen to me! I'm adopting a kitten Saturday. It would be a huge blow if Jolee ended up liking something besides me.... he doesn't like ANYTHING besides me.

we think it is a tabby thing - tabbies are so laid back they adapt to nearly everything if they are loved muchly.

Don't feel sad, Merlin and Dobby's mom ... They'll come and cuddle with you once the novelty has worn off a bit. It's just fun explorin' when you've got a little buddy to share with.
