Sun nap

Since everybody really liked the picture of me sleepin' in the sun (middle pic in previous post) here's some more. Mommy was playin' with her camera's buttons and tryin' to take pictures from different spots. Click to biggify, if you wanna.

Finally.

Hi! It's me, Dobby. Well the guests did finally leave. Mommy tried to tell me that the people visiting us DO like kitties, but I didn't want to find out. So after the guests went to bed I would come out and snuggle with Mommy and Daddy and get as much attention as I could, then I would hide again the mornings. But after they left, we enjoyed our Sunday afternoon and got some good sleep, knowing all was right with the world.

Cleanliness

Merlin says that there can be no napping until we're BOTH clean.
But I was really really sleepy. So I had to help him out cause he was taking too long.

Hiya!

It's Me! Dobby! As Merlin told you yesterday, my mom has a really bad sickness called the March Madness. She even has a blog about it! Anyway, she at least took some pictures of me with her cell phone, so I could show you all how much I'm growin! I'm still about half the size of Merlin, so I gots a ways to go. 'Cept Mom says that half the size of Merlin is about the size of a regular sized cat. But I wanna be big like him!

Not feelin' good

I'm not feelin' good. Mommy says if I don't feel better by tomorrow mornin' I have to go to the V-E-T. So I'll just have to feel better. I've got too much spit! I made a drool puddle when I slept. And when I'm awake, I smack my lips some. Also I'm sleepin' alot. But I am still purrin' and followin' Mom around and floppin' on the floor for belly rubs. And I'm still playin' with Dobby too. Mom's worried about me.

Finally, some peace

Mommy started her temp-hor-hairy job today. I am finally able to enjoy some peace and quiet around the house! I do miss her, though, I guess. Don't tell her, though, I want her to think I'm independent and grownup and stuff.

I am so exhausted from entertaining her for the past six weeks, so I'm gonna go get unner my tree and take a long nap. I'm starting to plan for my new brother's arrival, too. I will update you all as soon as I can wake up, but right now, I'm... just... so... sleepy...

Nuthin to See Here

My mommy keeps waiting for me to do something new she can take a picture of. Because, she says, almost ALL the pictures of me have me either sleepin, in my window, or (recently) unner my tree.

But I like sleepin, and bein' in my window, and bein' unner my tree.

So that's where I am and what I'm doin. And that's my Kitty Prerogative! Anycat that wants to teleport over and join me is welcome!

Visions of Sugarplums....

I am so sleepy! I have been watchin' Mom shop online all afternoon. Also, she might have a temp-or-hairy job to do for a while, so that's good, it means she can keep me in nip, but today she had to go pee in a cup or somethin' so they can make shoor she's not on the nip herself... Also, she's going to gradyooit skool startin' next month, so I'm just ixhosted thinkin' about all this. I need a nap.

My Woofies

Here's my brother Max (wif the blue sweatshirt) and my sister Coco (wif the red sweatshirt) havin a nap. They were lyin' outside in the sunshine in the spot where my Daddy puts the leaves that he catches in his lawn mower. They like to lie in that spot. I think Max's nose musta been cold, cause he's got it tucked under the leaves! You can click on the picture if you wanna see it big. Looked to me like they were nappin' real good, and I wanted to go out and join 'em, but Mommy said I had to have my nap inside.

Busy Night

I was furry busy last night. I had to inspect efurry-thing! The dogs were inside acause it was cold and rainy, and there was this towel on the floor in the kitchen. Now, I know that towels are not normally on the floor in the kitchen, so I had to check it out. (You can click to biggify any of these pictures if you wanna)

Then I had to see what was happenin' outside this window.

I get a better view if I stand on the coffee table.

Then I needed to know what was in the dogs' food bowls.

Then I wanted a better view of the dogs and the kitchen, so I jumped up on the counter. Mom made me get down, but she tooked a picture first (Coco's all covered up 'cause she was cold).

Then I needed to be in this drawer.

This is where Mom usually puts Fishie. I wanted IN THERE!

Then I was plumb tuckered out so I needed a bath.
See how I extend that one toe straight up? Like when Mom holds her pinkie up when she drinks? My Mom loves that.

Then? Since all was inspected and approved, it was naptime.

After that, I went and got on Dad's chest and snuggled and napped there. It was nice. But we didn't take some pictures of that.

Brotherhood

My Mom says that thanks to the Creature (in Monday's post), Max can come inside more. So he came in last night! We had lots of fun.

I kept him company.

He let me check out one of his bones. They're HIS favorite toys. Mom said I still shouldn't share Fishie with him, though. He can only play with bigger toys, he might eat smaller ones.

After a while, we were both kinda pooped, we had to rest.
